Early this week, I had the pleasure of photographing the rising young star Colin Huntley.
At 15 years old, Colin has already proven to be an amazing talent beyond his years.
Here’s a few shots from the day and at the end of the night (many more to come), and a bio on Colin taken from his website:

Colin knew he was drawn to perform as a career path when he was 12. He auditioned for an AMTC showcase and was excited by the reaction he got from industry professionals. In July, 2011 he performed all week in front of approximately 100 industry professionals as both an actor and guitar/vocalist. As an acting and singing finalist he performed on stage in front of 1500 people and received many call backs for both acting and music.
Following the AMTC experience he was signed for acting by Abrams Artists Agency in LA and by manager Cinda Snow of Snow Entertainment. That led to a 10 month stay in LA where he took extensive acting classes and went on many auditions, booking some small roles along the way. While in LA Colin played lead guitar in a teen band Gravity Hill, and got to play some live shows around LA including shows at Whiskey-A-Go-Go and the O.C. Fair. He also met music producer Anthony Mazza and recorded his first three original singles while in LA. His first single “I Bet” was written when he was 12, recorded at 13 and released on his 14th birthday.
Colin is currently in Austin, TX attending high school at ASPVA (Austin School for Performing & Visual Arts). He has recently worked with Austin based, Grammy winning Producer Randy Miller recording more original material. His first EP titled “ECLECTIC” was released December 2012 and is available on iTunes. Colin also works with Jason Davis and OneOne7 Media as a strategic partner in further developing his music career. This fall He is working with Co-Writer/Producer Keith Follese out of Nashville, writing new original songs that will be released on his second EP scheduled for release in early 2014.
Colin formed the Colin Brooks Huntley Band in early 2013 with the addition of long time friend Riley Stokes and Hunter Howell. The trio is playing regular shows in the Central Texas area. They recorded a live CD of all original songs written by Colin and offer it free online for download to anyone who signs up for his mailing list. It’s titled “Live At Roots”. When he’s not playing music Colin is interested in sports, girls and hanging with his buddies.
